Release notes for 14th Jan 2018 (1.20.0):


Sales

Improvement: Billing Frequency - Configurable default billing frequency - When creating a new booking and pushing the booking to an enquiry, the billing frequency will be set to a default choice which can be changed within System Configuration. 




Feature: Availability Grid - show checkout clean not yet complete. This feature looks at outstanding cleans for the current day and if there are any, an exclamation mark icon on the right hand side of the Availability Grid unit type cell will appear. When clicked, it will show a list of outstanding cleans and provides the option to view them. This will allow visibility of any outstanding cleans on current stays so that corrective action can be taken.  

Improvement: Availability Grid - Search query performance. We have improved the response time in which the Availability Grid provides the information required. This was reported to have been slow and not as responsive. This has now been improved and is a lot quicker. 


Operations

Feature: Activities to support tick lists - sub tasks that require completion before the activity can be completed or closed. 
A new field has been created for tick lists which is added as a text field to Activity Templates which can be found under Checklist. This contains a representation of the items in a ticklist which will look like the image below. Users can also now use the mandatory check box to specifiy whether the completion of the sub task ticklist is mandatory before completion of the activity.

Please note that if a ticklist is added to an activity and has the 'mandatory check box' checked the activity cannot be completed. When completing a ticklist, it will be possible to tick all items in a tick list and click "complete" in one action. 

When creating an activity, there is now an option to pre-populate from these templates created

This will appear and allow you to choose from the template created.

Finance


Feature: Accommodation Product -  Before, accommodation invoice products was hardcoded and now there is functionality that allows users to choose different products to be used. This will be reflected within the invoice under product name, within Rates in Admin, when editing a rate plan there is a button called Accommodation Product which allows you to choose a product for a rate. 






















System

Feature: Default Billing Frequency 
Admin → System Configuration → Booking → Default Billing Frequency.
This relates to the sales improvement mentioned in the Sales section (Billing Frequency - Configurable default billing frequency). Setting a default billing frequency in System Configuration will enable the selected 'Frequency' to always appear on new enquires.
