Sales

Fix: Booking - In certain circumstances when multiple room stays had been added to a booking and one is lost you couldn't update the other room stay.

Operations

Feature: Key Locations - We have introduced a new feature for managing Keys. Many customers use Key Safes to enable guests to collect their own keys when arriving at a property. Key Locations can be created in the system and then associated with Buildings & Units. You could have a Key Location called Foscari Place Reception that serves all properties in the Foscari Place building. Each Key Location can be configured with a Key Code type i.e. 4-digit or 6-digit and the system can be configured to auto generate new codes for this Key Location. 

Key Locations are an alternative to having door codes added as a custom field to Units.

Feature: Key Sets - With the introduction of Key Locations Key Sets can now have their home location set to a Key Location

Feature: Key Sets - Key Sets can now be checked out to a Key Location i.e There home location maybe the office (Key Location) and the key set is checked out to a Key Location ready for guest arrival.

Improvement: Key Sets - Due back date now automatically moves if the associated room stay end date is changed.

Fix: Issues - Issues can now move straight from Open to Completed


Properties

Feature: Inventory - New Inventory App released - see App section below in these release notes

Improvement: Roles - Now support soft deleting. You can only delete a role if it is no longer associated with any buildings or units.

Finance

Fix: Auto payments - When a booking arrives via an online channel and auto payment is taken it was wrongly creating a payment against commission credits as well as the accommodation sales invoice

Improvement: Operations - Key List updated to show Home Location of Key Set

Apps

Feature: Inventory App - New app released to allow inventory items to be added to properties. If this App is enabled for your system, then when you view a Unit (Properties - Units) you see a new tab appear called 'Inventory'

Once the App is enabled you can then add inventory items to the Unit by Internal Locations i.e. Bedroom 1. The below image shows a bed added to Bedroom 1 and a Freezer inventory item added to the Kitchen.

System

Improvement: Tag Manager - The TAG manager has been improved to include a category for the TAG type. The following TAG Type categories are available 'Activities, Booking, CRM Company, CRM Contact, Issues, Property Units or Global'. The category allows you to select which part of the system the TAGs are available too. For example a TAG Type set with a category of Activities will only be available to activities. The TAG Type category of Global makes the tag available to all parts of the system.
